PETITION: To All Parents, Guardians & Communities

To read and sign the petition click here

To save education safely, we demand:

  • All public and private schools to be closed for the balance of the year
  • All Grades from 1 to 11 to be promoted to next grade
  • All Grade 12s to receive a pass
  • Grade 12s to enter university on the basis of Grade 11 results
  • All First year students at university to do a compulsory 1 year bridging course.
  • The balance of the year to be used to build, fix, maintain and secure existing and new schools.
  • Community organisations, parents, teachers & learners to convene a National Assembly for Education Transformation.

As parents and communities, we believe that we can beat Covid 19 even at this late stage. But, we must act together now, with urgency. We cannot give up!
